Announcing:
The NYC DEBUT of the one and only Iasos, one of the two founders of New Age Music.
He will share his celestial sounds with us on custom-built synthesizers along with perfectly aligned visuals in a full multi-media concert on the evening of April 27th, 2012. THe event will take place at Body Actualized Center, the home of Cosmic living in Bushwick, Brooklyn.
EVENT WILL ALSO FEATURE:
◌ Cosmic environment installation created by Aaron Katsnelson and Brian Sweeny
featuring projection mapped visuals.
◌ An afterparty featuring a live set by Mark McGuire and Cosmic Dance Music sets

Body Actualized is proud to present the decades-long-awaited NYC DEBUT Iasos, one of the two founders of New Age Music. He, along with his contemporary, Steve Halpern started the genre in 1975, when they both released their first records, Iasos' being the album "Inter- Dimensional Music". Since then, Iasos has toured globally playing to audiences seeking inspiration, enlightenment and healing through sound and vibration.
He could be referred to a "spiritual minister," conducting his sermon not by words but through the vehicles of sound and light. He performs his joyous and life-giving music with custom built synthesizers he has been developing for almost a half-century. From the very beginning, Iasos performances have invariably been paired with a vivid visual element, which he has developed over time, following the evolution of technology, from rudimentary analog projections by way of light manipulation in the 70's, to now software-based technology.
Iasos has recently made his way into the popular music realm by making music videos for Teengirl Fantasy and James Pants.
Throughout his music and visual art career, his craft has maintained an enduring thread, taking cues along the way from a magnificient higher-dimensional being, named Vista. Please help us welcome him here in NYC for the first time ever!
